International award for scientific papers in the field of engineering and high-performance plastics and composites

Have you received your PhD after October 31, 2006? Enter your thesis in an International Award competition. Prizes of EUR 15 000 (1st) and EUR 7 000 (2nd) and EUR 3 000 (3rd) await the winners.

For the 3rd time, Quadrant will confer the coveted International Award for Acedemic Excellence in the field of Materials and processes related to engineering and high-performance plastics and composites..

The competition is open to graduates who have written a doctorial thesis in the subject field and have recieved a PhD in the period from November 1, 2006 to September 30, 2008.  An academic jury of international experts will evaluate the entries.

Suggest to your professor that your thesis be submitted.  Forward your application to us by September 30, 2008.

Applicants who are nominated by the jury for the shortlist will be invited to present their papers prior to the awards presentation ceremony to be held at the Semper Aula of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich on Saturday, January 24, 2009.  Timely notification will be given of the venue and further details.  Legal recourse is excluded.
